Palm Springs, Sisters Edition.

Several months ago, the sisters and I decided to do a sisters only weekend. Surprisingly, we've never done it. We were close when we went to San Luis Obispo, but it wasn't just the 3 of us, aaaaand that was 2 years ago {thankfully my hair has grown since then. Yikes!}.

We left Saturday morning and stopped at the outlets on our way to the hotel. We may or may not have raided the Quicksilver/Roxy outlet. Okay, who am I kidding? I'm a walking advertisement for Roxy. They should be paying me. Moving on...

We got to the hotel and were laying by the pool...with a pina colada in hand...by 1:30. The weather was hot...but just the way I like it. Hot enough to get in the pool and be dry in 15 minutes.

We laid out...we read...we talked...we swam. It was the perfect afternoon. We checked into the room about 5:30 {it wasn't ready when we got there...} and got ready for dinner. We went to Old Spaghetti Factory {please, hide your shock} and it was delish, as usual.

After dinner we headed across the street to shop a little more {we may or may not have all bought the same exact shorts ;) }. After shopping we went to get frozen yogurt at The Beach House. Yum yum!

Sunday morning we were up around 9 and headed down to the pool around 10:30. After lunch, we went to the bigger pool with a water slide and had some fun there.

We were on the road later that afternoon and made a few stops on our way home, including Desert Crest Country Club. It's where my grandparents had a place for years growing up. We spent many many weekends there and have some great memories.

It was fun driving past the place my grandparents had and walking around the pool area. Usually things are smaller than you remember them, but this time it was bigger. From there we stopped at the outlets again, for a short trip to Adidas that we missed the day before, and then Islands for dinner.

It was a great weekend with 2 of my favorite people in the whole world. You know what melted me the most? {Hint: not the heat!}. Saturday night, the significant others got together with all 6 kids and had dinner. ❤
