NYC, Day 3.

Saturday we sorta didn't have plans because we had done so much already. We wanted to do a boat tour of Manhattan but it was right in the middle of the day and sorta inconvenient. We hadn't decided what to do, but started the day by going to the High Line, which is a park that was built on an old railroad track. It was owned by a company that let the unused empty tracks be an eye sore for years until the city pressured them to sell it so it could be turned into a park. It is really cool!

Some of the tracks are still there, and in some areas there are chase lounges that are on the tracks and can be moved.

Once we hit the end, we decided to do the Circle Line Cruise, and walked through the Meat Packing District and back to Times Square before we had to be at the pier.

The Circle Line Tour was really great, but kinda long {3 hours}. It takes you all around Manhattan, which is very cool. If we wold have know about the tour, we probably wouldn't have done the Staten Island Ferry because it {CLC} takes you right by the Statue of Liberty. At least it {SIF} didn't cost anything :)

Here's lower Manhattan.

And the Brooklyn Bridge.

We saw the top of the island which we never would have seen if it weren't for the tour.

Yankee Stadium.

George Washington Bridge.

By the time the tour was over, we needed to head back to the apartment to get ready for dinner with our aunt and uncle. We had dinner at an Italian restaurant around the corner from our aunt and uncle's apartment. It was the best alfredo I've ever had!! I've tried to think of something that comes even close, and I just can't think of anything. It was AMAZING! I forgot to get a picture of the 4 of us at dinner :( After dinner we went back to the apartment and visited some more before bed.
