Virginia, Day 1 & 2.

Adam, the kids, and I went to Virginia to visit some of his friends out there. Here's the lowdown: We stayed with Eric & Erin, and they have 3 girls: Emilia {5}, Anna {3}, and Julia {3 1/2 months}. Dan and Sandra have 2 boys: Nathan {almost 7} and Andrew {almost 4}.

Our flight left at 7am {you do the math on when I had to get up!} on Wednesday morning and we landed in Virginia about 2:15. We hung out with Eric & Erin and the kids that afternoon.

After all the kids went to bed, the 4 of us {adults} played games.

Thursday we went into DC with Eric, Dan, and Andrew. We accomplished a lot! Our first stop was the US Marine Corp memorial.

We had lunch at Union Station and took the metro to the White House.

That night, Adam, the kids, and I went to Dan and Sandra's for dinner and played games after the kids went down.
