Oceanside

Summer is finally here! :) My sisters and I went down to Oceanside where our grandparents and great aunt and uncle were camping. Have I ever mentioned how much I love my family? Here it is then: I LOVE my family, immediate and extended. We always have such a great time together. Jen and I went down Tuesday afternoon and we spent a couple hours on the beach before dinner. The boys loved playing in the sand and water. How sweet is this boy!?















After dinner, we had a fire and roasted marshmallows and all sat around and just talked. Me and my grandpa:
















Once the fire died down, most went to bed, but Jen, Malinda (mom's cousin), and I sat around and talked till 12:15. We didn't realize how late it was until we got back to the motor home! What a great time though :) Marianne came down Wednesday and we spent most of the day at the beach (except for a walk down to the pier to get a shake at Ruby's, which was 3.5 miles round trip). We left after dinner on Wednesday, so it was short little trip, but so much fun. It makes me even more excited for our Doheny trip in a month, which will be a little bit longer and our camp site is RIGHT on the beach. I can't wait! :)
