We celebrated Kai's 1st birthday yesterday down in Carlsbad with my grandparents. I can't believe this sweet boy is already a year old.
Where does the time go?
We hung out, played games, ate dinner. It was a fun and relaxing time with the fam. We had a gorgeous sunset.
I love sunsets and I think that Carlsbad ones are my favorite. I know I've said it before, but I think that all sunsets that set into the ocean are pretty...clouds, no clouds. I just can't help but stand back and be awestruck by God's beauty.
We sang to the birthday boy, and he loved the attention. Look at that smile!
It was a great afternoon spent with my favorite people :) I'm looking forward to going down again next weekend and spending even more time!
